This handsome Joseph Elliot straight razor arrived covered in active rust some pitting, very uneven hone ware near the toe and a large chip at the heel of the blade. The chip was removed by grinding a thumb notch to preserve the thickness of the razor.  The hone ware was removed by regrinding the razor and after a thorough sanding, cleaning and polish it's stunning!

The scales, although vintage are not original to the razor.  We love the translucent quality of vintage blonde horn dyed to mimic tortoise shell.  The white wedge is original and is nicely accompanied by high polished brass pins to pull together the classic Sheffield look. 

This razor will arrive expertly honed, sterilized and ready for a shave to your door.
